Sales and Marketing Kit
The Moen Flo Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff is a critical innovation for the home insurance market. In 2024, they entered into a strategic partnership with several insurance providers to combat rising water damage claims. I was tasked with creating a set of sales and marketing tools that insurance agents could use to sell this complex product.

CHALLENGE
When Moen first began partnering with insurance companies, we’d make specialized marketing kits for each partnership. This worked for some time, but with more and more partnerships, it grew difficult to track down brand managers for the correct logos, partnership details, etc. Everyone involved in this process, from beginning to end, grew tired of the turnaround time this required. We needed a more brand- and partnership-agnostic solution.
SOLUTION
I sat down with a Channel Marketing leader to understand the needs of field insurance agents. I learned about the tools they have to edit pieces on their own, the marketing platforms they prefer to use most, and what messaging they felt was most effective. I then crafted a suite of reusable social, email and print assets that could be leveraged by any insurance provider. The tools range from end-to-end marketing plans to a customized email series.
